Big Cargo

All of a sudden, large red bark maples are all the rage.

This past weekend, several of the 36" Beni Kawa went to new homes.  The one in the picture took a ride in a pickup that typically hauls horses.  The new owners drove back out from Freestone with their truck so they could have new maple sooner.

Perhaps, the idea of a fully grown tree is reassuring.  Folks know how big the plant will get and they know it will make an instant impact in their garden.  These are actually dwarf [about 12' tall] maples.  However, the red winter color dwarfs everything else around them!
