This time of year, many people in the Northern Hemisphere are thinking about folding up their shade sails. We recently visited a garden that has a great shade sail arrangement.
Plus, the real purpose of the sales isn't shade! It's to protect giant koi from predators. Apparently, if egrets and other birds can't see the koi from the sky, they don't drop to the ground to investigate further.
This garden has cool koi and a sculptural display of triangular mesh!
